Advocating for the Waimānalo Homestead Community

The rich history of the Waimānalo Hawaiian Homes Association is deeply intertwined with the legacy of Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaole and the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act of 1920. Through the foresight and dedication of Prince Kūhiō, the residents of Waimānalo and other Hawaiian homesteads have been able to secure a place to call home and preserve their cultural heritage.
